Where Time Sleeps

Copyright 2018

If I knew how I’d pull the moon

Out of the stars into your room

I’d turn off the lights, lay by your side

No one would talk only lie there

Letting time more around

I don’t know what to do but for you I would do it all

How far now will this go

We don’t know, we don’t know we don’t know

How much worse can it grow

We don’t know we don’t know we don’t know

If I knew where time went to bed

I’d yell in his ear, I’d wake him up

I’d ask him to stop I’d have him explain

To you and to me why he never, ever seems to be late

I don’t know what to say but for you I would trade it all

How far now will this go

We don’t know, we don’t know we don’t know

How much worse can it grow

We don’t know we don’t know we don’t know

And when its time to go

I will miss you more than you know
